Hi! I'm so glad you're here.

If we've never met, here's a little about me. I'm a mom of three, a lifelong book lover, and the kind of person who'd rather spend a quiet afternoon with a good story than just about anywhere else. I'm introverted by nature, a little nerdy by choice, and I firmly believe there's no such thing as owning too many books.

When I'm not reading, you'll usually find me playing D&D, illustrating a children’s book or practicing a new painting technique, playing Candy Land with my kids, or checking on the Little Free Library in front of our house. Watching books come and go from that tiny library has reminded me how stories have a wonderful way of connecting people, even complete strangers.

One of my family's biggest dreams is to open Whiteley's Books & Bakes here on Cape Cod—a cozy bookstore and bakery where you can grab a fresh pastry, curl up with a great book, and feel right at home. Until then, this little space is where I'll be sharing the books I love, my thoughts, favorite finds, and all the wonderfully bookish things that make life a little cozier.
